Dr. Lokesh Shekher Jaiswal

Dr. Lokesh Shekhar Jaiswal, a highly accomplished Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon with 16 years of experience, is renowned for his pioneering contributions to heart surgery in Nepal. An alumnus of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, and the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, he holds an M.Ch in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery from AIIMS. Dr. Jaiswal holds the distinction of being the first surgeon to successfully perform open-heart surgery outside Kathmandu and was instrumental in establishing the institute’s dedicated CTVS unit. His career includes valuable experience as a Senior Resident at AIIMS and as an Associate Consultant at Max Hospital, New Delhi. Proficient in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures, Dr. Jaiswal has also contributed extensively to academic literature, publishing on rare and challenging surgical cases.
