Stronger Than Cancer with Regency Health
On World Cancer Day 2026, Regency Health Kanpur hosted Stronger Than Cancer, a survivor-led initiative inspired by the theme United by Unique. The programme created a powerful platform where journeys of recovery became stories of hope, where individuals found strength in shared experiences, and where life beyond cancer was recognised with pride and compassion.
The event was inaugurated by senior consultants and specialists including:
- Dr. Abhimanyu Kapoor, Director Surgical Gastroenterology
- Dr. Priyanka Verma, Senior Consultant Haemato-Oncology
- Dr. Vikas Talreja, Senior Consultant Medical Oncology
- Dr. Ashish Raj Kul Shrestha, Senior Consultant Radiation Oncology
- Dr. Jitin Yadav, Senior Consultant Surgical Oncology
- Dr. Abhishek Tiwari, Consultant Medical Oncology
- Dr. Archana Trivedi, Senior Consultant – Obstetrics & Gynecology
Bringing together cancer survivors, caregivers, oncology specialists, and community voices, the initiative focused on celebrating survivorship and emphasising the importance of emotional wellbeing alongside medical care. It reflected Regency’s belief that healing extends beyond treatment and continues through support, understanding, and human connection.
Through this initiative, Regency reaffirmed its commitment to standing beside patients at every stage, supporting not just recovery, but the courage to move forward with confidence.
