Press Conference Marks the Launch of Regency Super Speciality Hospital, Kanpur
Regency Health hosted the Press Conference for the Launch of Regency Super Speciality Hospital, Kanpur, on 22nd August 2026 at Regency Super Speciality Hospital, Sarvodaya Nagar, Kanpur. The event brought together Regency Health’s leadership team, healthcare professionals, media representatives and key stakeholders to announce the expansion of its healthcare infrastructure in Kanpur and showcase the new facility and its advanced clinical capabilities.
The press conference marked the official launch of Regency Health’s new 475-bed advanced healthcare facility in Kanpur. With this addition, Regency Health Kanpur’s Sarvodaya Nagar complex now has a combined capacity of 775 beds. The integrated complex is spread across approximately 8 lakh sq. ft. across three towers.
Advanced Clinical Infrastructure
The integrated complex features 18 advanced modular Operation Theatres, including 9 newly added OTs, 200+ ICU beds, 200+ specialists and 33+ specialities.
The new facility also features advanced technologies including the Da Vinci X Robotic Surgical System, DSA Lab for Neuro Intervention, LINAC Halcyon, Gamma Camera and 3 Tesla MRI.
Patient-Centric Facilities
The facility has been developed with a focus on patient-centric infrastructure, including fully automated patient suites, five-bedded wards, dedicated seating areas and a 100-bed night-stay facility for families. It also includes dedicated Priority OPD and speciality-specific OPDs.
Other facilities include 300+ vehicle parking, a 100-seat Multi-Purpose Hall and the Regency MyCare app, which provides appointment booking and access to online reports.

The press conference was attended by Regency Health’s senior leadership, healthcare professionals, media representatives and other key stakeholders. The internal dignitaries included Dr. Atul Kapoor, Chairman & Managing Director, Regency Health; Dr. Rashmi Kapoor, Director, Regency Health; and Mr. Abhishek Kapoor, CEO, Regency Health, along with the Regency Health leadership team and senior healthcare professionals.
The launch and press conference reflect Regency Health’s commitment to strengthening tertiary and super-speciality healthcare in Kanpur and surrounding regions, while focusing on patient-centric infrastructure and improved healthcare access closer to home.
