World Cancer Day Observed at Regency Hospital, Gorakhpur

As part of Regency Hospitals’ World Cancer Day observance, Regency Hospital, Gorakhpur marked World Cancer Day with a dedicated oncology engagement session focused on advancing integrated and compassionate cancer care.

The event featured participation from a multidisciplinary oncology team including Dr. G. Mehar Kumar, Director | Medical Oncology, Dr. Rupesh Kumar Singh, Consultant | Surgical Oncology, Dr. Anshika Gupta, Associate Consultant | Radiation Oncology, Dr. Kanala Sai Krishnaja, Consultant | Nuclear Medicine, and Dr. Sahana Punneshetty, Consultant | Gynecologic Oncology.

With around 45 participants in attendance, the session encouraged clinical exchange and highlighted the importance of coordinated treatment approaches in modern cancer care.

The initiative reflects Regency’s continued commitment to advancing oncology services through expertise, collaboration, and patient focused treatment.
